Memorial University at Macpherson College

This year’s conference in St. John’s, Newfoundland, has a very special room rate for those looking to travel on a budget!  We have reserved a block of rooms on the campus of Memorial University in Macpherson College.  There are two options, a one-bedroom suite (a double bed and private bathroom) and a two-bedroom suit (two private rooms with a twin bed in each and a bathroom with a shower shared between the two rooms).   Each suite is $160 CAD or $80 CAD (plus tax) per person for the two- room suites.  (The U.S. dollar value will depend on the exchange rate when you are billed.). There are a limited number of the rooms with a private bath, so book early if this is your preference!

Each floor of the building comes with a communal kitchenette, a lounge area and study room with a fitness center.  The facilities provide short-term on-site parking, bed and bath linens, and internet access. There is no housekeeping during the stay.

The deadline for reserving one of the rooms the university is holding for our conference is June 29.  After that you may still make a reservation if any space is available.
