Detailed Information on Downtown Denver Venues
CONFERENCE LOCATION: The 2025 Annual Conference will be held in Downtown Denver, Colorado.
For those arriving at Denver International Airport, the A Line light rail train travels directly from the main airport terminal to Union Station in Downtown Denver for $10 each way. Tickets can be purchased at the train station.
CONFERENCE HOTEL: Downtown Hilton Garden Inn, 1400 Welton Street, in Downtown Denver. Rooms are available at a special rate of $189 plus 15.75% tax per night (totaling $219). The rooms will be held until September 25th or until the first 25 are reserved. The rate includes high speed Wi-Fi, discounted parking ($25 per day), and the same rate can be used for three days before and after the dates of the Conference. Group Code: HOD .
The hotel is one mile from the Union Train Station, but a free shuttle bus goes directly from the train station up the 16th Street Mall to Welton Street, with a 1 1/2 block walk from there to the hotel.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEES: The cost to attend for regular members is $175 and $100 for students; it covers all meetings and presentations. Registration also includes the Welcome Reception, with hors d'oeuvres generously provided by the Rocky Mountain Map Society, and a cash bar available. Additionally, registration includes attendance at the Annual Banquet at the Cactus Club, with dinner and complimentary drinks provided. Guests only attending the Banquet will pay $50. Registration will become available in the coming weeks.
CONFERENCE ACTIVITIES:
Welcome Reception: Thursday, October 23rd, 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM in the Platinum Meeting Room at the Downtown Hilton Garden Inn, the conference hotel. A free buffet of various appetizers will be provided, compliments of the Rocky Mountain Map Society. A cash bar will be available. Come visit with your friends and meet new ones.
Conference Presentations and Meetings: Friday, October 24th Training Room of the Main Denver Public Library, 10 West 14th Avenue Parkway, (between 13th and 14th on Broadway). A six-block walk through the Civic Center Park will get you from the hotel to the Main Denver Public Library.
Lunch: Friday, October 24th. On your own. A list of nearby restaurants will be provided.
Banquet: Friday, October 24th. 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The Cactus Club, 1621 Blake Street. Just off the 16th Street Mall. Walk 1 ½ blocks to the Mall and take the free shuttle bus 9 blocks down to Blake Street.

Lunch Saturday, October 25th. Box lunches will be provided at the Library at the time of Annual Business Meeting.
